Hi there! My name is Emma Cox (they/she), and I am a genderfluid, queer, white settler (Norwegian and British ancestry). I am grateful to have grown up and currently live on the unceded territories of the Squamish, Tsleil-Watuth, and Musqueum peoples.

I have worked in social-justice spaces for over a decade. This ranges from facilitating support groups for sexual assault survivors to working at a safehouse for youth who frequent the Downtown Eastside.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology from McGill University in 2015, and my Masters in Counselling from the University of Northern British Columbia in 2022.

In other areas of my life, I am a very social being who enjoys connecting with others (while also appreciating solitude by the ocean or in the forest), becoming absorbed in a good book or t.v. show, and spending quality time with my cat, Oakie (who likes to make appearances in virtual sessions, now and then!).
